Helping Brands Succeed Online Across All Channels

360pi is attending the 2015 Consumer Goods Sales and Marketing Summit and is offering brands new strategies towards succeeding online across all channels.

According to a new report by the U.S. Department of Commerce, e-commerce sales increased 3.5 percent during the first three months of this year from the previous quarter, reaching a record $80 billion worth of purchases. That’s 7 percent of all retail sales. As well, it’s estimated that over a third of U.S. e-commerce purchases go through online marketplaces.

This unprecedented change to the retail channels that brands have traditionally relied upon brings both tremendous opportunities and threats to manufacturers. On one hand, brands have more opportunities than ever to connect directly with consumers, leaving many to decide if, when, and where they should go direct. On the other hand, this new reality also means many brands are struggling to:

  • Identify who is selling their products online, where and at what price;
  • Improve the performance and compliance of their authorized online sellers;
  • Increase their share of the digital shelf relative to competitors.
