Company welcomes Tom Martin as CFO and Jenn Markey as VP of Marketing
Ottawa, Canada – July 30, 2013 – Today, 360pi, the leader in retail price intelligence, announced the appointment of two new members to the company’s leadership team: Tom Martin joined as Chief Financial Officer, and Jenn Markey as Vice President of Marketing. These appointments come at a time when the company is experiencing exponential growth in revenues and customers, and plans to scale the company with extensive hiring plans.
Martin and Markey both previously worked at Protus, one of the largest Canadian VC-backed exits in 2010 when Protus was acquired by J2 Global Communications for $213M. As CFO of Protus, Mr. Martin oversaw the company’s Finance, Legal, and Admin areas, implementing policies and procedures that enabled the SaaS company to scale from less than $1M in annual revenue and 20 employees when he joined, to over $70M in annual revenue and 300 employees at the time of its acquisition. Mr. Martin’s previous experience includes working as CFO at Energate, CFO/COO at FuseTalk; director of financial planning and systems at Export Development Canada; and as a restructuring specialist at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
In addition to her role in Business Development and Marketing with Protus, Ms. Markey has held executive marketing positions with numerous other early stage companies including SkyWave Mobile Communications, Semiconductor Insights, and CrossKeys Systems Corporation. Ms. Markey was part of the team that took CrossKeys public. As well, Ms. Markey built the strategic business relationship between Semiconductor Insights and United Business Media that ultimately culminated in the successful acquisition of the company. In addition, Ms. Markey consulted with 360pi, then Gazaro, back in 2011 when the company first made the strategic pivot from B2C to B2B.
