The Latest from 360pi

Vote for 360pi’s SXSW Panel and Learn What the “New Normal” is for Retail

Join us for an exciting session providing exclusive insight into how retailers are using pricing and assortment strategies to compete with online e-commerce giants who are swallowing the future of retail as we know it.

As we do every year, the 360pi team is gearing up for another exciting holiday season. We are anxious to see what the retail industry has in store for consumers these next few months, and as always, we will be closely watching the pricing and assortment strategies of leading retailers and brands.

As such, 360pi has set out to showcase our insights through a new venture – a global phenomenon known as South by Southwest (SXSW), one of the largest interactive and technology-driven festivals in the world. Held every March in Austin, Texas, SXSW is a 10-day trifecta of film, technology, and music festivals that attract more than 70,000 people worldwide. The Interactive portion of the festival has earned a reputation as a breeding ground for new ideas and creative technologies – a place to preview the technology of tomorrow, today.

We are pleased to announce that 360pi’s session, Inside the Retail Vortex, is currently in the running to be selected for a spot in the highly sought after final programming at next year’s festival! 360pi’s panel will provide never-before-seen data on retail pricing and assortment strategies applied by different sellers during the 2015 holiday shopping season and will include live commentary from key influencers in the industry. This combination of retail genius will tackle some of the biggest questions burdening retail today – with e-commerce giants like Amazon eviscerating established retail models and marketplaces, what does the future hold for retailers and brands? What does the “new normal” in retail look like? How does one survive?

Join us for an exciting session providing exclusive insight into how online e-commerce giants are swallowing the future of established retail models and what major retailers and brands, like Ace Hardware and Reebok, are doing to combat it. Also, learn from one of Forbes’ leading retail technology analysts and media personalities, Paula Rosenblum, about her thoughts on how retailers and brands can navigate this new shopping landscape together, in the face of Amazon.

Voting for sessions is live now through September 4. In order for us to be selected as a finalist, we need your votes. Please take 60 seconds and support us!
